The Cultural Values of Siri' in Bugis Community Represented in Tarung Sarung Film (2020)

Film Tarung Sarung (2020) presents the narration of young people’s adventure with setting local culture Bugis community, which emphasizes value siri' culture. Local in contemporary films is still rarely discussed depth. Thus, this study aims to answer gap study. This explicitly discusses cultural siri', represented film. The aim research get understanding on values community film Sarung. method used qualitative-descriptive a studies approach. uses Stuart Hall's representation theory determine values. Siri' are as inspiration move characters solving problems.
